About the Niwot Area
Niwot is a charming little Colorado town located ten minutes from Boulder. With the famous Rocky Flatirons as a backdrop, Niwot is a beautiful hideaway with a stunning downtown filled with quaint shops, restaurants, and a sizeable antique district. With a local population of just under 5,000, the residents of Niwot tend to be very involved in community events and happenings in Downtown. Fortunately, the Niwot Inn is in the heart of Old Town (on 2nd Avenue) and provides easy access to all of Niwot’s festivities. To learn more about Niwot, check out the town’s website.
The community of Niwot is proud to support local businesses. As such, Niwot hosts many local events throughout the year. Old Town lights up during festivities like Rock N Rails, our award-winning summer concert series and The First Friday Art Walk, a free event attracting art lovers and artisans alike. Shops stay open late and the Inn offers live acoustic music.
Our small town grows as the sidewalks fill with people – both residents and folks from neighboring towns. It’s events like these that make Niwot a real gem.
